Our intramural program offers students in grades 10–12 a fun way to stay active and build teamwork after school. All events are held within the district.
Leadership Opportunities
Our schools offer a variety of leadership opportunities, from Leader in Me to Student Council. Students are encouraged to get involved, and make a difference in their schools and community.

Performing Arts
We have award-winning programs in music, speech, debate, and drama, with over 30 performing arts activities for students in grades 6–12. As Iowa’s only “Premier Community for Theatre Education,” the district is committed to providing exceptional access to the arts.

Publications
The Arrowhead and Tenth Street Times are Waukee CSD’s student-led publications. From reporting and photography to design and editing, students gain real-world experience while sharing stories that matter to their school community.
Silver Cord
Our Silver Cord Program encourages students to give back through volunteer service with approved nonprofit organizations.
