Return to Learn Update from Special Board Meeting
Our priority is to both keep students and staff safe and healthy and to keep students and staff who have chosen the in-person option to stay in school. I understand our current environment, keeping our students and staff safe, may mean different things to different people. I sincerely hope you can understand the weight of the decisions that we are making each day are not taken lightly.
At tonight’s Board meeting, the Board voted to approve the recommendation to remain in our current hybrid learning model, or simply no change.
This meeting included the review of data, in collaboration with Dallas County Public Health and Waukee CSD Lead Nurse.

- Staff Attendance Rates
- Zip Code Data/Cases per 100,000
We will remain vigilant in our monitoring and should the situation shift we will take action as our priority is to keep our staff and students safe and healthy.
