Beyond the Bell Adjusts to Online Learning

Beyond the Bell looks a little different during online learning. But students and staff are making adjustments to make the most out of every opportunity.

Waukee’s Beyond the Bell program takes care of an average of 100 students each day (K-5). During online learning, students are spread out across lunchrooms and gymnasiums throughout the district. This allows each student space to do their school work and participate in the their respective classroom discussions.

Beyond the Bell staff are on hand to help with any questions regarding schoolwork or online learning opportunities.

The entire team is finding unique and creative ways to make sure learning goes on every single day.
