Happy Paraprofessional Appreciation Day!
Today is Paraprofessional Appreciation Day, and we have much to celebrate. In a district of over 1900 staff members, approximately 400 of those staff are paraprofessionals. Whether it’s helping a student one-on-one, assisting with lunch or recess, or monitoring a study hall, this job is incredibly important, and the work is essential to the learning, development, and success of our students.
We would like to give a huge shoutout and a heartfelt thank you to each one of these amazing individuals for all they do for students and fellow staff. They approach their work with joy and so much love. We would not be the district we are without each and every one of them.
