Librarians Talk Favorites for National Library Week
April 4th-11th is National Library Week! The purpose of this week is to encourage students, families, and communities to connect with their local libraries. Our librarians and library associates do so much to empower and aid students in their learning by helping to cultivate an appreciation for reading and connecting them to genres, characters, and stories they enjoy.
As part of National Library Week, we checked in with a few of our district librarians about their favorite reads and why they enjoy teaching library…

All-Time Favorite Read: The Kite Runner by Khaled Hosseini
Favorite Part about Teaching Library: My favorite part of being a Teacher Librarian is that I have the opportunity to support ALL students at Waukee High School.
