WHS vs. NWHS Football Info

Waukee Northwest High School and Waukee High School will face off in varsity football for the first time on Friday, Sept. 1, 7 p.m., at the Northwest football stadium. Get your tickets HERE. You are strongly encouraged to purchase your tickets in advance. We’re monitoring ticket sales, and we will shut down tickets when we reach our capacity level.

Cash WILL NOT be accepted at the ticket windows.

Activity Passes:

If you have a WHS or NWHS student activity ticket, or an NWHS family all-sports pass, you do not need to purchase a ticket to the game. If you haven’t done so already, passes may be picked up in the NWHS Activities Office. Passes will also be available for Will Call at the NW ticket windows.

Staff/guest passes will also be valid.

Those with a WHS family all-sports pass will need to purchase a game ticket.

Game Information:

All tickets are general admission. Gates will open at 5 p.m. on Friday, Sept. 1. The seats are first-come, first-served. When stadium seats are filled, overflow seating will be offered on the hillside as well as standing room only areas. Stadium seating is not guaranteed.

High School students should sit in their designated sections on the home and visitor side.  Northwest middle school students should sit in their designated section on the home side.  Elementary students representing both schools are required to sit with an adult.

We are expecting a large crowd, so please be patient and expect long lines at concessions and restrooms.

Parking:

The below map shows the main options for parking. In addition to the main lots at Northwest High School, consider parking at Triumph Park and walking across the footbridge between the two sites.

Need Something to Wear?

Still need a t-shirt for the Waukee vs. Waukee Northwest football game? Check out this option, which was created by a high school student. The Foundation (with the help of its great sponsors!) made this idea a reality by providing funding. It is also giving each high school student and staff member a shirt free of cost. Everyone else can grab one for $10 at Home Sweet Cone, Hy-Vee, or when you get to the stadium on game night!

Media Registration:

All media outlets interested in covering the Northwest vs. Waukee game must contact Kayla Choate, Executive Director of Communications, at kchoate@waukeeschools.org to obtain a media pass. No unregistered media will be admitted.
