Waukee HOSA Attends State Leadership Conference

Waukee CSD students competed at the Iowa HOSA State Leadership Conference. Waukee HOSA had a strong showing with several individuals winning first or second place in their individual competitions. In addition, Waukee brought home the Gold and Silver in the highly competitive HOSA Bowl over eight other teams from the State.

Two State Officers Selected from Waukee: 

  • Maryum Khan (WHS) and Satvika Anbukumar (WHS) were both elected by their peers at the Iowa HOSA State Leadership Conference to serve on the HOSA State Executive Committee. Satvika will be the president-elect for the 24-25 school year and then take over as President of Iowa HOSA for the 25-26 school year. Maryum was elected as the Vice President of Marketing.

HOSA BOWL First and Second Place:

  • Two Waukee teams placed in first and second place in the highly competitive HOSA Bowl at the HOSA State Leadership Conference. The winning team won three different rounds to win the competition. Congratulations to both teams for a great competition!
