Waukee CSD Recognized for Excellence in Financial Reporting

The Waukee Community School District has received the Certificate of Achievement for fiscal year 2023. The Government Finance Officers Association of the United States and Canada (GFOA) awarded the certificate to Waukee CSD in recognition of its Annual Comprehensive Financial Report (ACFR).

The Certificate of Achievement is the highest form of recognition in governmental accounting and financial reporting. The GFOA established the program in 1945 to encourage and celebrate both state and local governments that rise above the minimum requirements of accounting principals to prepare annual finance reports.

Chief Financial Officer Sarah Enfield says that being recognized is “a huge accomplishment for our team and District.”
