Waukee CSD at the Drake Relays
Our students had a successful weekend at the Drake Relays. Check out some of their record setting accomplishments!
Waukee High School:
Girls:
- Anjelena Carder wins the 400 meter dash with a time of 55.45 and sets both a school record and Drake Relays record.
- Lena Bruening, Gentry Williams, Jana Maharry, and Anjelena Carder are Drake Relays champions in the Sprint Medley with a time of 1:46.53.
Boys:
- Ben Case Haub, Uriah Allen, Santino Anzevino, and Gabriel Chayee run a season best and finish 6th in the 4×100 relay with a time of 42.26.
Northwest High School:
Girls:
- Ayrissa Robinson, Keziah Caldwell, Katie Stahl, and Avery Winter are 4×200 champions with a time of 1:40.46 and set a Drake Relays record.
- Avery Winter, Katie Stahl, Ayrissa Robinson, Keziah Caldwell are 4×100 champions with a time of 47.84.
Boys:
- Josiah DeYoung, Sam Johnson, Ayden Gabrielson, and Tyson Schlicher finished 5th in the 800 meter relay with a time of 1:28.91 and sets new school record.
- Carter Cabanayan, Zak Shlomi, Zack Janulewicz, and Ayden Gabrielson finished 8th in the 4×8 with a time of 7:56.52 and a new school record.
- Josiah DeYoung, Sam Johnson, Ayden Gabrielson, and Tyson Schlicher finished 5th in the 4×4 with a time of 3:19.88 and a new school record.
