About the Natatorium

Inside of Natatorium

Comparable to some of the nation’s best collegiate aquatic venues, the competition pool can support two full 25-yard, eight-lane competitions simultaneously. Additionally, a 25-yard, four-lane warm-up pool will provide space for training and swimming lessons. Together, the pools hold 1 million gallons of water.

Thanks to our project partners:

The aquatics facility will be home to the Waukee High School and Waukee Northwest High School swimming and diving programs. The hugely successful boys’ and girls’ teams have both been state champions for three of the past five years. This year, the teams will split for the first time, with both schools looking forward to building their programs in the state-of-the-art facility.

Additionally, the Natatorium team and our curriculum experts are working to implement academic programming for all Waukee CSD students in the facility.
