Dr. Buck’s Bulletin: May 2025
Dear Waukee CSD Families,
As we wrap up this final month of the school year, I want to take a moment to say thank you — for your partnership, your support, and for choosing to be part of the Waukee Community School District.
This year has been full of growth, learning, and moments worth celebrating, and our students continue to amaze us. A successful year doesn’t happen by accident. It takes a team — from our committed staff and compassionate teachers to the support and encouragement you provide at home.
As we head into summer, I hope you find time to rest, recharge, and make memories. And as you start thinking ahead, we hope you’ll continue to Choose Waukee — whether that means enrolling a new student in preschool or kindergarten, re-enrolling your student(s) for next year, or encouraging a neighbor to join our vibrant district.
We’re already looking forward to what’s ahead for 2025-26. There’s so much more to come, and we can’t wait to continue this journey with you.
Wishing you a safe and happy summer!
Sincerely,
Dr. Brad Buck
Superintendent
