Waukee Nutrition Services plans menus to ensure variety and great taste throughout the school year. Families can expect three major menu shifts — fall, winter, and spring — to take advantage of seasonal ingredients and offer variety to students. These menu updates help provide balanced, appealing meals that meet federal nutrition standards while offering new options for students.

You can find meal prices on our District fees page.

  • Choose the amount to add to your student’s cash account.

Detailed Instructions

Families can use the auto-replenish tool in RevTrak. This allows you to no longer worry about your student’s low account balance for meals! You can set up auto-replenish with eCheck, credit card, or debit card.

How to Set Up Auto-Replenish

Our cafeterias offer a la carte items for purchase separately from a meal at an additional cost. These items are also not included with a free or reduced-price breakfast or lunch. Meal accounts must have enough money to purchase a la carte items. For pricing, please review our District fees page.

How to Set Restrictions in SchoolCafe

Need to set restrictions so your child can only spend a certain amount on a la carte items? You can do that in SchoolCafe.

  1. Go to schoolcafe.com/WCSDNutrition or download the free SchoolCafe app to your mobile device and create an account.
    • If this is your first time logging in, please add your student by entering your student’s name and ID number.
  2. Click “Purchase Restrictions” under your student’s information.
    • Restrictions can be set by a dollar amount or by an item limit per day.
    • The software cannot restrict purchases by item type (chips, drinks, etc.), so please have a conversation with your student about making the choices you deem appropriate.

Use RevTrak to donate and help fight student hunger. We have established a donation fund called Feed the Future. Any money given to the fund will be distributed to students following the School Board’s policy guidelines. Look for the “Feed the Future” icon in RevTrak to donate.

The District will make reasonable efforts to collect unpaid meal charges. Families will be notified by an automated calling system and e-mail notifications until funds are added to an account.
